Sometimes a yard just needs problem-solving, not just prettying up. The condenser unit had sunk over winter and needed a new concrete pad to sit level and stable. That kind of thing gets ignored until it causes a bigger headache - so we took care of it while we were out there fixing everything else.

The generator and condenser also needed to be screened off. We built a vinyl picket enclosure that keeps everything tucked away without looking like an afterthought. Clean white vinyl, solid construction, and it actually adds to the curb appeal rather than hiding something ugly behind something uglier.

We added a paver walkway leading through the mulch bed so there's easy hose access without tracking through fresh black mulch every time. That's the kind of detail that makes a real difference day-to-day. New shrubs went in along the screened area to soften the whole section and tie it into the rest of the beds.

Fresh black mulch across all the beds really pulls it together. The beds are edged clean and tight against the lawn, and the landscape lighting is placed throughout to keep things looking sharp after dark too. The mix of softscaping, clean edging, and lighting is what separates a yard that looks maintained from one that just looks mowed.

When you combine practical fixes - like a sunken concrete pad - with thoughtful softscaping and screening, the whole property just reads better. Everything has a place, everything looks intentional, and nothing is an eyesore anymore.
