A lot of homeowners don't realize how much a fresh layer of mulch can change the way their entire property looks. It's not just about filling in the beds - it's about creating contrast. Clean lines, deep color, and a finished look that ties the whole yard together. That's exactly what we went after on this one.

We went with black mulch throughout, and the reason is simple. Our owner puts it best - nothing contrasts the colors of your flowers and greenery more than black mulch. Against green grass, stone foundations, and blue-gray siding, that deep black really pops. It makes everything around it look more intentional.

The beds wrap around the front entry, along the sides of the house, and continue into the backyard - right up to the deck and patio area. We kept the edges crisp and clean all the way around. Natural boulders placed throughout the beds break up the space and add some texture without making it feel cluttered. It's a small detail, but it matters.

Beyond how it looks, black mulch does real work. It holds moisture in the soil, cuts down on weeds, and protects plant roots. So you're not just getting a yard that looks great right now - you're getting beds that are easier to maintain all season long. That's a win on both ends.

Site maintenance like this is one of those things that's easy to put off but makes a huge difference once it's done. Whether it's a full property mulch refresh or just cleaning up a few key beds, we bring the same attention to detail to every job. The result speaks for itself.
